Search Called Off, Scott has been found!
April 30th, 2008 Categories: Maryland Real Estate News, Perspectives

All Points Bulletin has been called off. Scott has been found!
Thank goodness that Scott checked in with us the other day and gave us a real estate market update. We were all kind of worried since we hadn’t heard from him. We are glad that Scott is back with us and we look forward to more regular posting.
The next time he goes missing we will have to get a court order to force Scott to wear an anklet device so we can track his location!
Now let’s get back to what we were doing before Scott went missing….

It’s Friday so what the heck…
Meet Sam, the ghost who is living in my blog. He showed up a few days ago, and has dropped in a few times since then. Look! He’s smiling so he must be harmless.
As these stories always start…
I never believed in ghosts before, but now I do!
What’s that you are saying?…Sam was visiting you too? Humm….I wonder what he is up to? Don’t worry Agent Saghirian is on the job. For the rest of the story, enter at your own risk.

A blog is a Moon, not a Star!
February 21st, 2008 Categories: Perspectives
These pictures were taken by me last night during the lunar eclipse.
When I first decided to explore the universe of blogging I knew it would enhance my business, and offer an adventure. I spent a lot of time and effort learning about blogging. I have since launched two blogs since December. I even started working for the premier real estate blogging consulting company, The Real Estate Tomato.
The most important thing I learned was that a Blog is the opposite of your typical real estate website.
A Blog is a Moon, not a Star!
A typical website is set up as a marketing piece to attract your attention. It’s a virtual brochure with no opportunity to participate. The focus is the agent’s experience, service, or listings. The author expects you to revolve around this site as your ultimate source of information. In the solar system of real estate, there is no shortage of “stars” fighting for your attention. In fact, there are so many stars, you can name your own!
A blog revolves around the reader, not the other way around. The reader attracts the blogger by their demand for the truth and a relevant insight to the real estate market. Our future generations expect syndication of information and don’t have time to check in for more. Furthermore, as the reader, you can participate and drive the content by commenting and using social networking.
Successful bloggers realize they must revolve around the reader. If they do, the reader will admire their moon, just like we admire Earths.

- I Have been with my wife for over 16 years and have two children. Anna (6yrs) Alex (4yrs)
- Not only am I a real estate agent but I also consult fellow agents on productivity solutions.
- Clues to my fifth thing are peppered in links throughout this post. Yes it hurts.

What does real estate and goose hunting have in common?
November 21st, 2007 Categories: Maryland Home Buyers, Maryland Home Sellers, Perspectives, Relocating to Maryland

I landed back home in Ellicott City today, thankful for the wonderful morning.
The weather was unusually warm, we were among friends, and we were on vacation.
This picture shows daybreak and our decoy’s set up .
Fly over to the next page for video, and my bird brained answer to the question: What does real estate and goose hunting have in common?

Crossing the Chesapeake Bay Today
November 20th, 2007 Categories: Perspectives
Folks, one of the greatest things about living in Maryland is that we are central to so much. We have Cities,Suburbs, and Farmland. There’s mountains, lakes, and rivers too. Don’t forget our Chesapeake Bay and our Atlantic Beaches. The fact is: Maryland is a great place to live!
Today I am lucky enough to visit our Eastern Shore to take part in a my annual goose hunt scheduled for tomorrow. My good friend Guy sets it up each year and I am proud to share a blind with him. Our guide will be Steve Goss. Lord of Illusions.

I hope I can bring some good pictures back as well as a Grande story. We struck out last year, thanks to Mother Nature. She’s the boss. There has been a change in plans this year and I think we may be hunting near the Wye River.
Regardless of how heavy our bags are tomorrow, I know I will catch a part of Maryland.
