Arctic Blond? That was a cheap shot!

That being said, I am sorry for being missing so long but I have been working “undercover” on some really important real estate “cases.” The grey hair is part of my disguise!

As a result of my “investigations” here is the word on “the street.”

The names and locations of the suspects and victims have been changed to protect their identity.

Now is the time to buy a home

It’s great time to be a buyer. Overall rates are good but financing has changed so get in touch with a great lender. There are more properties to choose from, and negotiating works in your favor.Maryland Home Search

Seller concessions are more common, and sellers are more likely to entertain your repair requests. The traditional buying season is upon us so over the next 3 months we should see some interesting market statistics.

I have seen an increase in buyer activity myself which has kept me quite busy showing property. If you are thinking of purchasing a home or investment property please give me a call.

Many Sellers Will Be Just Fine

If you have equity and have to move, then you will still fair well. Those who just bought or have little equity have less options. Trends in values depends on your location, neighborhood, price range, and type of property so you need a qualified professional to guide you through the process. If your home provides real value compared to the competition then you won’t have any problem selling your home.

The past 5 sellers I have worked for all walked away with significant cash and sold their property under agreeable terms. Sure, the buyers are a little more in control, but this pressure can be minimized with a good real estate agent on your side.

Some agents will last, the others won’t

Yes, the number of overall transactions has decreased and it has effected real estate agents. Many are doing very well though, and there are opportunities in every market. A strong business plan including a budget is still important. Agents need to learn how to shift with the market and evaluate their results.

Sold Homes

I have been training and consulting a few agents and real estate teams in the area because I enjoy teaching so much. I am finding that agents are realizing they need to improve their foundational skills of working with their database. Internet lead generation and blogging is also getting a lot of attention.

Check out my website that outlines productivity solutions for real estate agents.

The ever changing real estate business

Along with the home buyers and sellers I am working with I am also busy working on another blog that will highlight real estate in Howard County. When I make my official announcement you will be the first to know!
